Wikis vs Navigators
The more I look at Wikis the more I wonder why we are developing Navigators. If we want to produce online guides that people will find easy to use, why not use a structure that people are familiar with already. Why re-invent the wheel?
You have a point = when the idea of navigators was first developed noone knew of wikis ... now we have the option of using this technology or exploring some of the other open source options flagged in this article http://journal.code4lib.org/articles/47 (I can't take the credit for finding the article ... one of your colleagues in the course pointed it out to me).
